I own a lot of baseball hats. I've got one for every occasion and mood, but my favorite is the baseball cap because it's so versatile (sometimes you just need to wear something that says "I'm not here.").
So what makes me love all these caps? They have three important things in common: they're comfortable, stylish, and low maintenance.
The hat needs to be well-crafted and sturdy. I don't want some flimsy piece of cloth with a plastic strap and an abnormal bill. Save those for the little leaguers who are just starting out in baseball leagues, but I'm not that type of player anymore - my team is made up mostly from guys on their way into retirement
So we need something more substantial to stand up against all these years worth of games played under bad conditions without regular replacements or maintenance outside cleaning when it's done after each game
Which means this thing has got to have good stitching because there isn't going anywhere near as much elasticity left in our pitching arm joints since they've been overused by batting thousands upon thousand balls during practices before every single home game
I detest straps on my caps. Granted, while the ability to adjust may be economical and practical for some people's needs in an era of uniformly sized hats, a strap makes the cap sit on your head rather than allowing you to fully wear it with ease. However, as long as they're effective without interfering too much with full wearability (ie not getting them caught or pulled), then going fitted is always better!
I describe full wearability as a cap fitting the head like an expensive leather glove fits your hand. The hat should be deep enough to fit around your entire head with room for some movement, but not so tight that it restricts blood flow and becomes uncomfortable after prolonged use; think of the molding process used by tailors when they create custom-made suits.
Full coverage is important in order to ensure no hair or scalp are visible from underneath the hat, which would make you more vulnerable than if you were wearing less protection lining only parts of your face such as just over one eye or under both eyes while leaving space above them open - this can cause problems later on down the line because sweat may drip into those areas where there's
With so many hats on the market, it can be hard to choose a style that is perfect for you. Here are some tips to help you make an informed decision when shopping for your new baseball hat!
- First off, think about what color best matches your team's colors or outfits.
- Next, consider how often and where you will wear the hat as well as which type of weather conditions it should protect from (sun vs rain).
- Finally, take into account whether or not wearing glasses while playing sports may distort vision with certain styles of headwear in mind.
